hello everyone is back again on my blogπŸ‘‹. On this blog, I will discuss biographical texts. I will discuss the figure of the proclaimed father of Indonesia, yes he is Ir.Soekarno. Previously, I will first explain the meaning, structure, and language rules of the Biographical Text. Ok without long let's discussπŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡!

Definition of Biographical Text
Biographical text is a form of text that contains the story of a character in his life.

Features of a biographical text
-Contains facts
The biography must contain facts about the character to be written in a narrative form.
-The structure is clear
The text structure that is made for writing a biography must be clear, not confusing or a question mark for the reader. Authors can use forward, backward, or mixed flows when creating biographical texts.
-Straightforward language
The written biographical text must use clear, straightforward language, not too use language or language.

Biographical text structure
>Orientation
In a biographical text, the orientation begins with an orientation that gives an introduction to a general character, such as name, place and date of birth, family background and educational history.
>Events and problems
In the next biographical text structure, the sequence of life structure of the characters to be written is concerned. In this section, we will explain the ups and downs experienced by the characters and how they can become what they are today.
>Reorientation
Reorientation is the final part of the biographical text. Where contains the author's views or conclusions on the character. The reoriented part is optional, meaning that it may and may not exist

Language element
There are several linguistic elements that must be considered in making biographical texts. Following are the elements of language:
>Conjunction
A conjunction is a word that has a function as a link between one word and another. With the presence of a conjunction, it will make the sentence easy to read. The conjunctions are divided into two, namely intracalimat conjunctions and inter-sentence conjunctions. Intracalimat conjunction is a link that functions to connect one clause to another clause that is still in a sentence. Inter-sentence conjunctions are conjunctions that connect one sentence to another and are separated by dots.
>Reference word
A word reference is a word that refers to something that has been previously mentioned. Word references have a function so that the author does not repeat the same word.
>Markers of time, place and way
In biographical texts, there are words that indicate events, times and places. Markers can provide variety in making your biographical text less boring for readers.

okay after we discuss the meaning, text structure, and language rules I will give an example of a biographical text. Happy reading the text!
